Our review
Some ground rules.
These are set and enforced by the bsd.cafe moderators.
Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect and kindness. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of bullying will not be tolerated.
Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information of others without their explicit consent. Protect your privacy and exercise caution when sharing personal data.
Copyright and Licensing: Respect copyright and licensing agreements. Only share content that you have the right to use and distribute.
No Trolling or Flame Wars: Avoid engaging in flame wars, trolling, or intentionally provoking other users. Disagreements are fine, but keep discussions civil.
Report Abuse: If you encounter any violations of the server rules or witness inappropriate behavior, please report it to the moderators for prompt action.
No Malicious Activities: Do not engage in any illegal or malicious activities, including but not limited to hacking, spreading malware, or inciting violence.
Follow Instance-Specific Guidelines: In addition to these rules, follow any instance-specific guidelines posted by the administrators.
Promote Positivity: BSD Cafe is a supportive environment. Pro, not against.Any kind of attacks are strictly prohibited. This is a place for relaxation and serenity. Violations may lead to immediate account suspension. Negative behavior risks our server being isolated by others, affecting all users
Be Kind: No discriminatory or derogatory language based on race, gender, age, religion, or any identity. Calls for violence are strictly prohibited.
Use CW: Use Content Warnings (CW) for any posts that might be inappropriate for a general audience.
No Exploitation: No pornographic or child exploitation material is allowed. Soft nudity only with consent and behind a CW.
Language: The official language of this instance is English.
It’s not a problem if some posts are in other languages, but in the spirit of a Cafe, it’s best for users to be able to converse and understand each other without too much difficulty. Content moderation also becomes challenging in other languages, increasing the likelihood of misunderstandings.
